1983 Jeep CJ7 Renegade

There is an undeniable spirit of adventure wrapped up in the 1983 Jeep CJ7, a rugged icon of open-air freedom and classic off-road capability. This Chestnut Brown beauty, adorned with tasteful stripes and a lifted factory-style suspension, carries a story of countless trails and sun-soaked escapades. Its versatile soft tops, including a full and bikini top, beckon you to embrace the elements on your own terms. For those who crave the perfect blend of vintage character and practical upgrades, this 1983 Jeep CJ7 stands ready to deliver the thrill you seek.

Step inside and the Nutmeg vinyl interior welcomes you with a vintage charm that balances comfort and utility. The bucket seats, though showing some character with minor wear, provide a firm hold for spirited drives. The dash and gauges maintain their classic layout, while the tilt steering wheel adds a touch of adjustability for driver comfort. Functional heating keeps chills at bay, enhancing your cabin experience during cooler days in this iconic Jeep.

Beneath the hood lies a 4.2L inline 6-cylinder engine, the heart of Jeep's rugged DNA, paired with a 5-speed manual transmission that invites full driver engagement. The engine bay sports mostly original components, complemented by newer carburetor, fuel pressure regulator, fuel pump, and starter relay for dependable performance. Listen closely and you'll hear the distinctive rumble of the AMC straight-six, a soundtrack to every off-road adventure. Power steering and power disc brakes up front ensure responsive handling, while the lifted suspension and 31x10.50R15LT tires give this CJ7 commanding presence and capability.
