Much of that comes down to its proportions. The low nose, the crisp Pininfarina lines, and the removable Targa roof come together to create a design that remains remarkably fresh, even after all these years.When Ferrari introduced the 308, the marque once again turned to Pininfarina for the styling. Beneath the elegant bodywork, much remained reassuringly familiar, with the V8 serving as the beating heart of the car. Compact, eager to rev, and full of character, it was an engine perfectly suited to the personality of the 308. Combined with the car's relatively light weight and a manual transmission, it created exactly the kind of driving experience Ferrari had envisioned during that era.Not long afterward, the GTS followed, featuring the now-iconic removable roof panel.
