Its second owner is said to have commissioned a full restoration in the late 1980s, respecting the car's original colors, before passing it on to its third owner in 1988. It is reported to have been subsequently acquired by its fourth owner in 1996, who is said to have kept it in display condition at the Musée du Domaine in Quebec. The car was later sold in 2014 and serviced by Milo European Car Specialist in Vancouver, before being resold in 2015.Part of its current U.S. collection since 2021, the car is presented in attractive condition, well dialed in, retaining its matching engine block and head. It preserves all the hallmarks of the highly desirable Series 1 specification, including its beautifully pure and uncluttered lines, manual transmission, aviation-inspired aluminum dashboard, and bucket seats.
