Four former keepers

We are delighted to offer this 1999 Volkswagen Caravelle, finished in Blue with a grey cloth interior, representing a practical and increasingly sought after example of Volkswagen’s versatile transporter based MPV.

Powered by the 2.5 TDi engine and paired with the rare automatic transmission, this short wheelbase Caravelle offers relaxed and comfortable motoring, with the automatic gearbox being a particularly desirable feature on these models.

The VW has covered approximately 176,598 miles and is supplied with an MOT valid until 4th June 2026. It has had four former keepers, and is accompanied by a Volkswagen book pack and vehicle wallet. However, the original service book was reportedly lost while the vehicle was stored at a garage that subsequently went bankrupt. As a result, service history is limited to the most recent MOT documentation and an invoice relating to labour carried out at that time.

The bodywork is described as in generally good order for its age and mileage, with a couple of minor rust patches, and the interior remains presentable, trimmed in grey cloth. An increasingly hard to find automatic Caravelle.
