Description
- This is a so-called barn find or a car for restoration . Equipped with nice old original Dutch registration on blue plates, stood dry in storage for 25 years and therefore stood the test of time well. Perfect condition for hobby and restoration. it is the first version of the BGT with still the 3 synchro gearbox in authentic condition. The interior is typically understated 60s design with only the essentials present. At the 1964 Brussels Salon, Coune presented a coupe version of the MGB. The changes were not limited to a simple hardtop: thanks to parts from Renault and Simca, among others, he designed a car with its own personality, with a sloping roofline and a Ferrari-like rear end. The design was so well received that Coune decided to produce it. Spurred on by this success, MG introduced the MGB GT in 1965 . This closed version was also known as 'poor man's Aston Martin'. The GT also owed its beautiful lines partly to the interference of the grand master of body shapes: Pininfarina, who also built the prototype.Accessories

Voorzien van mooi oud origineel Nederlands kenteken op blauwe platen, 25 jaar droog in de opslag gestaan en daardoor de tand des tijds goed doorstaan. Perfecte conditie voor hobby en restauratie. het is de eerste uitvoering van de BGT met nog de 3 synchro versnellingsbak in authentieke staat.. Het interieur is typisch ingetogen jaren 60 uitgevoerd met enkel het hoognodige aanwezig. Op het salon van Brussel in 1964 presenteerde Coune een coupeversie van de MGB. De wijzigingen bleven niet beperkt tot een simpele hardtop: dankzij onderdelen van onder meer Renault en Simca ontwierp hij een auto met een eigen persoonlijkheid, met een aflopende daklijn en een Ferrari-achtige achterkant. Het ontwerp werd zo goed ontvangen dat Coune hem besloot te produceren. Aangestoken door dit succes introduceerde MG de MGB GT in 1965 . Deze gesloten versie werd ook wel 'poor man's Aston Martin' genoemd. De fraaie lijnen had de GT deels ook te danken aan de bemoeienis van de grootmeester in carrosserievormen: Pininfarina, die tevens het prototype bouwde.Accessoires
