With the 964, Porsche revived this tradition by presenting an exclusive open version that combined the best of both worlds: the performance of the 911 Turbo and the pure driving experience of a convertible.
The America Roadster featured the wide Turbo body, including its distinctive flared wheel arches and powerful brakes, but remained rear-wheel drive. This not only gave the car a muscular appearance, but also a dynamic character that is highly appreciated among enthusiasts.
