Description

1965 Porsche 911 Coupe - Early Chassis, Matching Numbers, Dutch Registered

Offered for sale is a historically significant 1965 Porsche 911, one of the earliest examples of the model that would define Porsche's identity for decades to come. This particular car features an early chassis number and comes with matching numbers, confirmed by both a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity and the original Kardex.

Key specifications and details:
-Original delivery color: Champagne Yellow (current color: Ruby Red, resprayed long ago)
-Engine: 2.0L air-cooled flat-six, approx. 130 hp
-Matching engine number
-Upgraded from original Solex to more reliable Weber carburetors
-Steel air filter box
-4-speed manual transmission
-Top-end engine rebuilt
-Electronic ignition installed for improved performance and reliability
-Original interior configuration with classic early 911 layout
-Imported from the USA approx. 7 years ago
-Now Dutch registered with full documentation

The 1965 911 marks the beginning of the 911 legacy, featuring iconic styling, lightweight construction, and a driver-focused design. With fewer safety and comfort features than later models, it offers the purest and most engaging classic Porsche driving experience.

A rare opportunity to acquire a first-generation, matching-numbers early 911 in excellent mechanical condition and with historical documentation—an increasingly collectible piece of Porsche history.
