It features an air-cooled 1.6-litre four-cylinder engine paired with a four-speed manual transmission. This specific model year features the updated safety components, including larger wrap-around indicator lights and chunkier bumpers, while retaining its signature handcrafted coachbuilt body styling.A true exercise in automotive synergy, the Volkswagen Karmann Ghia beautifully combined the talents of VW, Carrozzeria Ghia, and coachbuilder Karmann. This delightful, right-hand drive Type 14 cabriolet has covered just under 78,000 miles from new. Carefully restored around nine years ago, the vehicle has been dry stored since, covering very few miles in recent years. It is now presented in gleaming Pheonix Red with a contrasting black hood and a matching black interior. Far more than just a 'Beetle in a Party Frock', these charming cabriolets possess a classic late-fifties style and well-restored examples in such desirable colours remain highly sought after. Ready for the road, the car has also recently benefited from full service/health check which was carried out by the specialists at Classic Car Mechanic in Liphook between September 2025 and January 2026 costing a total of £6,628.56 (this work is detailed in the invoices within the history file) Consigned by James Good
