Iconic Auctioneers is a specialist UK auction house offering classic cars, competition and racing cars, modern classics, collector cars, motorcycles, private registration plates and automotive collectibles. Established in 2011 as Silverstone Auctions, the company rebranded as Iconic Auctioneers in August 2023 to reflect the broader range of specialist automotive auctions it now conducts. Founded by British racing driver Nick Whale, the business has developed an international reputation among collectors, enthusiasts, dealers and investors.

Over the years, Iconic Auctioneers has achieved numerous notable and record-breaking auction results. Highlights include the 1985 Ford Escort RS Turbo S1 originally owned by Diana, Princess of Wales, which sold for £722,500 in 2022, and a 1987 Ford Sierra Cosworth RS500 that achieved £590,500 in 2023. In October 2024, Iconic Auctioneers acquired Classic Car Auctions (CCA), bringing its established classic car sales under the Iconic Auctioneers umbrella while continuing to offer a broad range of affordable and desirable classic vehicles.

The company hosts live, timed online and private sales, providing buyers and sellers with access to carefully selected classic and collector vehicles from across different eras and marques. Iconic Auctioneers also holds exclusive automotive auction rights at major UK motoring and motorsport events, including the NEC Classic Motor Show, Race Retro, Supercar Fest, CarFest and the Practical Classics Classic Car and Restoration Show. The auction house has also worked with leading owners’ clubs, including the Ferrari Owners’ Club of Great Britain, Jaguar Enthusiasts’ Club and Porsche Club GB, to conduct specialist marque-focused sales.
