Developed following Jaguar's acquisition of Daimler, the 2.5 V8 combined the acclaimed Mk2 bodyshell with Edward Turner's smooth and distinctive 2,548cc hemispherical-head V8 engine

Featuring four-wheel disc brakes, independent front suspension and a Panhard rod-located live rear axle, the 140bhp V8 offered refined performance with a top speed of approximately 115mph

The interior appears to retain much of its original trim, aside from what is believed to be a replacement headlining, and has developed a lovely period patina throughout
